Position Description

  • Actively sell instrument service contracts for QIAGEN installed instruments to end customers in NA.
  • Partner with other QIAGEN sales representatives to sell complex service agreements to key customers. Attend sales meetings as needed.
  • Contact customers primarily via the telephone or electronic channels.
  • Utilize the Customer relationship database to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness and aid sales.
  • Utilize pre-call planning for increased effectiveness, work along an action plan to implement company strategy and marketing activities.
  • Support Partner Service Sales by actively selling service products as required.
  • Position Requirements

  • Scientific background in molecular biology or similar disciplines (BSc / MSc) and / or practical laboratory experience or experience with instrument service preferred.
  • Previous selling experience preferred (especially if done by phone / electronic communication).
  • Language skills : English native speaker or excellent business fluent.
  • Personal Requirements

  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer- and service-orientation.
