Job Purpose :
BTIG is seeking a Vice President to join its Investment Banking group in San Francisco or New York. Vice Presidents are involved in all facets of BTIG's investment banking activities, including private and public offerings, M&A transactions, and other advisory services.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate potential to take on a significant role in deal execution by providing day-to-day support to senior bankers and clients while also providing professional guidance to junior team members.

Duties & Responsibilities :
Managing and assisting in the preparation of financial models and business valuations
Coordination of various processes, including capital raises and advisory transactions
Preparation of offering memoranda, proposals and other written materials for meetings with clients
Organizing and participating in marketing and client meetings
Conducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions
Assisting in the development and continued cultivation of client relationships
Identifying new business opportunities and developing tailored recommendations for clients
Interacting with corporate clients, private equity firms, venture capital firms and senior bankers
Develop, train, and mentor analysts
Requirements & Qualifications :
Undergraduate degree from a top-tier school with a minimum GPA of 3.5
At least 3 years of investment banking experience
Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively in presentations, as well as express complex financial strategies in an organized and articulate manner
Strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Highly organized, proactive, energetic and decisive, with high level of integrity
Ability to comfortably interact with business clients and management
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency with relevant banking-related databases / applications (Bloomberg, CapIQ, etc.)
The ability to excel in both team and self-directed settings
Must have FINRA Series 63 & 79 licenses
Must be based in the San Francisco Bay or New York Area
