Position at Wavemaker
The Senior Strategic Planner is a linchpin of the Wavemaker Strategy + A&I team; he / she will be responsible for planning, framing, and developing insightful, effective communications work that can meaningfully influence the purchase journeys of consumers.
He / she is expected to handle the IMC strategy needs of brands in highly-competitive business categories defined by changing business trends, consumer behaviors, and accelerated change on digital.
As a Senior Strategic Planner, you will partner and collaborate with client leaders, creative and content specialists, and media experts to provide opportunities for brands to achieve rapid growth.
You would help contribute to the thought leadership output of the agency whether through new business wins or by expanding existing businesses organically and be a leader of our strategic response to business issues and opportunities

Learn and apply the theory and practice behind Provocative Planning
Become familiar with the internal and external analytics tools and research sources available
Have an in-depth understanding of the business problems of assigned verticals, their contexts, and their communications environment.
Meet the analytics requests and reports of assigned clients
In six months
Lead the development of strategic responses for clients
Drive integration and synergy across touchpoints, ideas, and opportunities in the purchase journey
Lead in strategic thinking, ideation, and innovation while collaborating with internal and external parties
In twelve months :
Lead a strategic discussion with senior clients on key business challenges
Package and discover strategic frameworks and engagement ideas for presentation
Assist Head of Strat+A&I to facilitate workshops, training, and thought leadership

Driving our strategic responses for clients, founded in meaningful consumer insight and delivering transformational ideas
Drive the synergy of media, content, and technology across these strategic responses
Driving our integrated planning responses for key clients, founded in great consumer insight and delivering transformational ideas
Be the trusted advisor of our client leaders and key clients for strategic responses and communications needs.
Be a key part of the Wavemaker worldwide planning community
What you will need :
Graduate of a business or research-related course
At least 3-5 years work experience in IMC strategy and analytics reporting.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
IMC planning and strategy experience is a must
Familiar with using planning tools (Nielsen, social listening, analytics tools Adobe / Google / Facebook )
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
Ability to present data through clear reports or creative stories
Experience in commissioning and / or delivering qualitative and quantitative research projects is desirable.
Experience of data management, data analytics, and designing and applying business intelligence dashboard solutions essential;
experience in running digital / social listening tools is a plus
