Consulting Travel Requirements 25%

This role will see you manage and evolve all aspects of the SAS consulting business in Philippines. You will define and oversee the development of internal and external resources needed to accomplish business goals.

Accomplish results through 360 planning, strategic business development goals, aligned implementation approaches, and prioritized business initiatives.

Maximize revenues, utilization and profit, through collaboration with all applicable internal departments and divisions to achieve the strategic use of SAS solutions and products by customers.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Develop and implement business plans specific to a practice’s objectives and goals. Work with essential business partners internal and external of division for alignment, strategy, execution and evaluation of practice objectives.
  • Define and oversee the practice objectives and the acquisition / development of resources including implementation of partner strategies to support the needs of the business
  • Provide leadership and management of the practice comprised of functions that may include some of the following services : implementation, integration, readiness, management consulting, engagement management, business development, and marketing.
  • May also include other functional areas depending upon the business location and need.

  • Provide staff with clear understanding of responsibilities, accountabilities and growth plan by communicating and managing work assignments, training, talent management and performance appraisals.
  • Define, create and maintain the required IP and artifacts that support a standard delivery of solutions within the practice to our clients.
  • Ensure adoption across the practice.

  • Collaborate regularly with appropriate divisional management to ensure progress toward divisional goals pertinent to their group or practice.
  • Collaborate regularly with appropriate delivery and sales leadership to ensure progress toward joint business plans and objectives are progressing and aligned.

  • Professionally represents SAS internally and externally. Ensures managed practice and its members represent SAS professionally and all work activities are conducted with integrity, honesty and fairness.
  • Provide quality service delivery through strong leadership of the practice, consistent communication and enforcing of accountabilities to staff.
  • Ensure all staff are accountable for results of customer satisfaction.

  • Responsible for all quantitative and qualitative practice metrics. Financial metrics and Performance metrics can vary by practice and will depend on practice objectives.
  • Thought leader in area of practice. Keeps abreast of trends in the related and competitive marketplace.
  • Ensure staff compliance with established divisional policies and procedures including, but not limited to : skills inventory, staff profiles, methodologies, quality assurance and project closeout.
  • Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide direction at a local and / or regional level on executing processes required to provide products and services to the market that meet contract quality, performance, schedule and cost requirements.
  • Participate with other management to develop strategic direction and priorities for the division at the local and regional level.
  • Provide input on the decision-making process for administrative or operational matters and ensures operations’ effective achievement of objectives at the local and / or regional level.
  • Clarify processes and establishes the infrastructure necessary to ensure successful collaborative efforts, including defining contacts, establishing regular meetings, and communicating pertinent information.
  • Develop fixed-price products as appropriate; develops vertical product expertise in coordination with company initiatives.
  • May develop other strategic services
  • Promote Consulting Services through attendance at conferences and forums.
  • Experience and Skills Required :

  • Expert knowledge of vertical software markets and formulation or response plans within those markets.
  • Expert knowledge of specific technology disciplines or solution / subject areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team-building, organizational, time-management and planning skills.
  • Manage a team of 30 40 professionals by establishing a management structure to develop / attract key talent for the organization.
  • Development of strategic business planning and assessment models.
  • Experience selling and delivering minimum US1,000,000 or larger implementations in a competitive marketplace with multiple products and solutions working together.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of 10-15 active client projects of varying sizes. Familiarity and comfort with system development life cycles and agile project approaches
  • Experienced in IT services contracts and negotiations
  • Excellent facilitation skills with ability to work across multiple divisions consulting, sales, finance, legal, etc.
  • Executive presence to engage with customer executives in telcos, banks and other large enterprises in Philippines
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Typically requires fifteen years of experience in technical implementation of software systems. Demonstrated success in P&L management.
  • Nine years of experience in a leadership role including five years in a formal management role.
