PRIMARY OBJECTIVE : The Tax Specialist will ensure full adherence to Philippines taxation and handle tax functions for the Group tax team.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following : Prepare tax returnsMonitor compliance with tax rules and regulationsHandle tax audits, reconcile and challenge findings, if anyRespond to various correspondences received from the tax authoritiesDetermine the Company's tax risks, exposures, and deficiencies and recommend corrective measuresProvide advice on the tax implications of certain transactions and scenarios based on relevant tax rules and regulationsResearch, understand and implement applicable tax issuances and rulingsUnderstand relevant tax treaty obligations binding upon the Philippines governmentLiaise with tax authorities and tax advisors, as requiredAssist with internal and external audit requirementsHandle tax functions for the Group tax team, including potential exposure to tax issues in Australia, New Zealand, and other key marketsUndertake other duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related disciplineCertified Public Accountant (CPA), preferredAt least 5 years relevant experience in a senior roleExperience in dealing with tax authoritiesStrong analytical and technical tax skillsStrong attention to detailsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent organisation and time management skillsGood interpersonal skillsAbility to work as part of a team and autonomouslyPRIMARY OBJECTIVE : The Tax Specialist will ensure full adherence to Philippines taxation and handle tax functions for the Group tax team.
