HPE currently has an opening for a Hybrid IT Leader. In this role you will make your mark with your highly developed Compute, Storage and Hybrid IT knowledge to drive sales execution and results.
You will also manage a team of Sales and Presales Specialists.
As Hybrid IT Leader, you will :
Build, develop and retain a high-performing sales and presales team. Coach individuals through managing change, selling challenges and actively manage performance and results.
Align closely with the Channel, Enterprise, and Commercial Leaders to establish joint go-to-market plans to ensure a focused and planned engagement of strategic customers to grow the Compute and Storage footprint within these segments.
Align closely with other HPE business unit leaders to ensure that a workload centric and pan-HPE solution model is used as the principal sales motion in acquiring new customers.
Build clear strategies for working with key accounts to pursue and close major opportunities, including clear identification of tactics for accelerating progress through the pipeline.
Establish professional relationships and credibility with key customer IT and business executives
Maximize revenue by critically assessing deal viability, participating directly in complex sales negotiations and resolve any to ensure customer satisfaction.
Accurately compile and communicate sales forecasts and progress against forecasts through disciplined, rigorous approach to evaluating and tracking sales opportunities.
About You : -
Proven people management experience in sales with track record of building / managing high performing sales and / or presales teams.
Experience and understanding of selling compute and storage technologies and solutions into enterprise, commercial and SMB
Demonstrated results in growing a business and / or acquisition.
Skilled at building rapport, opening doors, and understanding business requirements of senior decision makers.
Comfortable with and builds strong relationships and credibility with client decision-makers.
Good technical knowledge of Compute, Storage and Networking solutions within data center context
Ability to balance quick wins against longer sales-cycle opportunities to ensure both immediate wins and long-term profitability for the company.
A self-starter, with the ability to manage through change and adopt new strategies.
Previous experience working effectively with extended and cross-function teams in a matrix environment..
