About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Content + Innovation, to join our team of experts striving to make advertising more valuable to the world.

In the role, you will create and execute content initiatives (i.e. branded content, integrations, collaborations, influencer and talent marketing, podcasting, sponsorships), that arise throughout the ideation and execution process.

Experience should include knowledge of media-centric branded content programs in addition to strong strategic thinking skills and knowledge around emerging media platforms.

We would also welcome knowledge of the campaign planning process.

The Content + Innovation team plays a vital role within the agency, driving content initiatives from ideation through to execution in addition to sourcing opportunities in emerging technology that prepare clients for the future of media.

Some of the things we’d like you to do :

  • Work closely with and provide support to Content Director and AD’s in the Content & Innovation team to deliver seamless execution and amplification of Stream 2 digital content activations for Google.
  • Establish solid working relationships with key Google MediaLab stakeholders, as well as external publishers and partner agencies, such as PHD.
  • Build robust connections with internal Essence teams to ensure smooth delivery of custom projects, such as Planning, Activation, Strategy, Investment, Analytics and Legal
  • Be responsible for management of the weekly team project tracker and ensure that partner decks and pitch documents are saved correctly and in a timely fashion.
  • Work closely with Essence and Google Multicultural / DEI leaders to ensure all campaigns and projects are honoring our commitment to Diversity and Inclusion across our businesses.
  • Play an active role in ideation and brainstorms on active briefs and proactive ideas for clients.
  • Create and collate the fortnightly newsletter to be sent to Google and distributed internally.
  • Be responsible for setting up weekly team meetings with publisher brand studios, content creators, and influencer marketplaces.
  • Evaluate and negotiate program activations deal terms, securing exceptional value.
  • A bit about yourself :
