Job Description
Scale-X has partnered with an established company in Australia to find an outstanding bookkeeper for their organization to maintain their financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
The Bookkeeper will work closely with the Accounting team to create and analyse reports to ensure legal compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments
Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities :
Maintain and verify records of day to day financial transactions. And make sure that everything is recorded properly in all ledgers
Help maintain or improve our chart of accounts; bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Reconciling entries.
Maintains general ledger
Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed in a timely manner.
Requirements
MAIN Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Previous bookkeeping experience preferred (at least 3 years)
Knowledge in XERO accounting software
XERO CERTIFIED
Knowledge in AU taxation.
Have worked with AU clients.
Other Qualifications :
Knowledge in Microsoft Excel / Google Spreadsheet
