Responsibilities

The primary objective of the Quality Improvement Officer is to provide support and assistance to all departments (Operations, Training, Quality, HR, etc.

in meeting and exceeding set targets through effective and highly driven processes and business strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • To perform data collection, monitoring, analysis and recommend improvement actions
  • To assist in the Business Intelligence project implementation and in the operationalization of process improvements
  • To provide necessary support for Process Mapping Workout, SOP Drafting & Analysis
  • Monitoring of SLAs, KPIs, projects, process improvements and miscellaneous other items
  • Provides support in conducting / facilitating Lean Six Sigma and other Process Intelligence Trainings
  • Leads multiple projects as assigned by the Process Development Manager
  • Defines, proposes and drives implementation areas of improvement within an identified department as well as other related areas through the use of (Lean) Six Sigma tools
  • Understands BPO concept, strategy, goals and objectives from key performance indicators to operational metrics
  • Develop project management practices for team and coach / mentor team members, internal and external to the team
  • Provides coaching and feedback when necessary
  • Ensures effective control of projects : address conflicting priorities, issues, risks and change
  • Adheres to task assigned by the Process Development Manager or Operations Manager
  • Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors / College Degree, Engineering (others) or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of work experience as a Supervisor or QA is required for this position
  • Preferably Six Sigma Yellow Belt and / or Green Belt trained / certified
  • Possesses strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Familiarity with Operational Excellence, Continuous / Process Improvement, and Total Quality Management concepts
  • Good background and experience in Project Management
  • Has excellent & effective written and oral communication skills
  • Strong team player with a high level of professionalism and initiative
  • Willing and able to work on a shifting schedule and during holidays
  • Proficient in a Microsoft Office Environment, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Mandaluyong
