  • We are looking for someone with :

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Graduate of Finance, Accountancy, or Business related course
  • Background in financial industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
  • Computer literate booting and shutting down computer, using mouse and keyboard
  • Keyboarding skillsAt least 30 words per minuteAt least 90% typing accuracy
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Nice to Haves :

  • Good communication skills written and oral; fluent in English (will be assessed)
  • Efficient and accurate data entry abilities; can process transactions with utmost accuracy
  • Team oriented, positive, and able to cope with stress
  • Adaptable and analytical, problem solving and mathematical skills are key
  • With keen attention to detail and a fast learner
  • Minimum Skills Requirements to Go-live :

  • Knowledge of client and end-user requirements
  • Knowledge of Manulife Securities Transfers processes
  • Knowledge of metrics and targets
  • Tools Specific Knowledge :

  • Lotus Notes
  • MS Office Applications
  • Fundserv
  • Repsource / Wealth Guide
  • Issuetrak
  • Product Specific Knowledge :

  • Knowledge of investment, dealership and Manulife Securities products
  • Knowledge on the rules and regulations of dealership and Manulife Securities as well as securities regulations
  • Process Specific Knowledge :

  • Able to identify the complex and non-complex Transfers transactions
  • Knowledge of Manulife Securities processes
  • Report generation
  • BU and MBPS Compliance
  • Good understanding of Service Level Agreement
  • Internal Eligibility requirements :

  • Open to all Manulife Securities associates with one year tenure in their current position
  • Must meet the qualifications of the position
  • Must have consistently met job expectations and pass all performance metrics in the current unit for the last six months
  • Should not have any attendance issues or any disciplinary action within the last year
  • On the job you will :

  • Deposit cheque requests.
  • Process all incoming Power of Attorney in a timely manner, and all new transfer requests.
  • Process manual internal and external transfers (in and out) within industry standard time lines. Confirm documents are in order prior to processing.
  • Follow-up with other departments or financial institutions as necessary until transfers are complete.

  • Process ATON eligible transfers (In and Out) within industry standard time lines. Confirm documents are in order prior to processing.
  • Follow-up with other departments or financial institutions as necessary until transfers are complete.

  • Perform quality checking for QC eligible worktypes (TSFR-TEMP and TSFINCQ).
  • Such other duties and functions as assigned by Operations Management.
