The Senior Director, Inclusion & Diversity will report into the Vice President, Inclusion, Diversity & Corporate Impact and play a key role in exemplifying the team mission of fostering a culture of inclusiveness.

Works with Business leaders to support them in championing a diverse, multicultural workforce where all employees can achieve and contribute to the company’s success.

Consults key stakeholders across the Business to ensure that the employee voice is heard and reflected in strategies that maximize employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Leads Inclusion & Diversity activities, overseeing directly a team of I&D experts
  • Provide consultation across Human Resources when designing, embedding and implementing Inclusion & Diversity processes in;
  • Reporting and data analyticsExecutive DevelopmentLearning delivered via leadership developmentSuccession planning and executive selection

  • Act as thought leader and advisor to the HRBPs, business unit, inclusion and diversity councils, ERGs and leaders; work directly with HRBPs and Talent Management to support strategic planning that will drive an engagement and inclusion strategy that enables diversity
  • Partner with marketing and communications on the McKesson experience and branding to ensure that McKesson’s culture is conveyed to prospective and current employees and is infused in each interaction along the employee journey
  • Deepen the impact of ERGs and leverage them to drive business and talent development innovations and initiatives; assess industry practices of ERGs and how they are evolving
  • Serve as subject matter expert and partner with Talent Acquisition to drive targeted diversity recruiting initiatives;
  • leverage industry and internal best practices as appropriate

  • Applies expert knowledge of Inclusion & Diversity to define a strong and inclusive culture aligned to ICARE and ILEAD values.
  • Provide thought leadership on evolving trends.

  • Collaborates with the Business and the entire HR eco-system to ensure the alignment and the infusion of the culture in all relevant HR products and services
  • Candidate Profile

    Demonstrated track record of success in developing and managing inclusion and diversity strategies, and in gaining support from stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment

    Strong bias for action and strength in execution / leading through others

    Prior experience in developing targeted diversity recruiting and pipelining strategies and implementing proven approaches to attract and hire the right talent to the organization

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an inquisitive disposition

    Demonstrated track record of taking initiative, leading large complex projects, working in a fast-paced federated environment and handling multiple and changing priorities simultaneously

    Strong business and customer orientation; stakeholder management

    Excellent interpersonal and consulting skills; ability to assess needs, collaborate and deliver practical solutions that drive results

    Highly organized, attention to detail and excellent follow-through required

    Ability to influence and mobilize colleagues and create accountability with different communities across the organization (BU Presidents, etc.)

    Partner with Business Leaders, HRBPs and TM to both develop and run the strategy

    Utilizes a story-based method to share compelling narratives, illustrate ideas and encourage creativity

    Minimum Requirements

    Minimum of 10 years of experience within a complex and high-growth organization

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or similar field; Master’s preferred.

    Physical Requirements

    Must have ability to travel a minimum of 25% of the time, post COVID 19

    Location

    The role is based in Las Colinas, TX
