Duty 1 : Projects Support Requirements Management and Communication
Gathers requirements from stakeholders or end-users and validates the applicability of those requirements from a system and business standpoint
Articulates ideas and viewpoints to stakeholders to help in the realization and clarification of business requirements
Translates business requirements to system requirements; guides the developers and end-users in understanding the business impact of the change
Organizes the requirements in a way that will be most beneficial to the business; coordinates any conflict in requirements with other world area analysts or development team
Analyzes the impact of global process and system changes to the business units or countries being handled and comes up with implementation and communication plan
Testing and Deployment
Assists in finalizing and approving the test cases to be used during UAT
Assists in finalizing and approving the test cases to be used to validate business changes
Provides input on cutover tasks
Reviews the requirements in comparison to the actual output
Analyses risk and mitigate project circumstances base on impact assessment
Identifies, analyses and mitigates UAT and Go-Live test results issues
Duty 2 : Business Process and System Maintenance and Enhancement
Facilitates user group discussions in determining requirements for fixes / enhancements, functional approval process, and submission and tracking for global / regional solution delivery
Follows-up the solutioning and delivery requirements fulfillment
Analyses system issues related to functionalities being used by the business
Creates / conducts root cause analysis of issues encountered and coordinates with technical team to resolve the issue
Documents new functionalities or updates to the business system
Duty 3 : Metrics Reporting and Analytics
Gathers and analyzes report requirements from stakeholders. Identify and provide solution to general inquiries
Analyzes gathered information & data using descriptive analytics (basic mathematics & comparative analysis)
Evaluates objective / charter and recommends non-standard reports / workaround based on gathered data and analysis
Conceptualizes report design contents and methodologies based from gathered data and / or analysis for static or dynamic reports
Work with reports development teams (Global or WA) in the development and delivery of required reports
Provide report recommendations and validate with stakeholders.
Duty 4 : Continuous Improvement and Innovation
Identifies continuous improvement project ideas
Participates in handling a Continuous Improvement Project using a problem-solving methodology
Works with the business to ensure change requests are clearly defined and assessed in relation to the business system supported
Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their problems and needs
Stays current with customer needs and strategies; utilizes formal and informal communication methods to communicate updates and findings
Maintains a deep awareness of how a business operation works and helping the stakeholders explore technology possibilities to more effectively run their operations
Requirements Education
University degree (Business Administration, Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, Information Management, Information Technology, Mathematics or similar) or equivalent
Job Related Experience
2 years relevant work experience in the Business Analysis field supporting Service, Sales, Marketing or Customer Care organizations
Specific Knowledge
Data Analysis, Data validation using SQL Server, MS Excel
Microsoft Office 365 tools
Microsoft Visio or any modelling tool
Azure DevOps or any issue / project tracking software
Ability to elicit, analyze, communicate and document requirements
Ability to see overlapping functions and interdepartmental dependencies
Ability to work with cross-functional teams (users, management, developers, IT)
Ability to communicate complex concepts and models into understandable visual representations
Handled business systems integrations
Process mapping / modelling; Data mapping
Familiarity with SAFe Agile or Stage-Gate process or similar
