General Purpose Responsible for specifying, planning, reporting, designing, and reviewing his / her technical area (e.g.
features). Main Responsibility Area An expert for technical aspects in own responsibility area. Leads and executes technical activities and projects in own responsibility area.
Supports resource and program planning.
Writes requirements, specifications and other guiding documentation for R&D from a technical point of view. May work also outside of own process area on technical issues.
Solves complex engineering problems in many technology areas. Coaches other team members in solving complex engineering problems.
Undertakes technical training responsibilities.
In this position you will be responsible for :
Understanding customer needs for features; contributing in CFAM1 / 2, where SFS is leading (System level).
Continuing work in CFAM3 (BTS Level User Scenarios / Requirements / Acceptance Criteria) ending with CFAM 4 / 5 (Impact to Design / ’High Level’ design).
Analyzing and specifying HW preconditions for any kind of feature support.
Analyzing and specifying dependencies between new and existing eNB features, aiming at maximum compatibility.
Analyzing and specifying impacts of new features to eNB supported configurations.
Modeling the behavior of software embedded within LTE Base Station (interface design, message flow definition).
Splitting of functionalities between software components within LTE Base Station;
Specifying faults / counters in RISE
Documenting and maintaining the functional requirements and cumulative design modules.
Ensuring traceability of functional requirements, design and acceptance criteria from test plans, entity tests and module tests.
Reporting the CFAM development phases to his / her eNB Specification Development Team Leader (SDTL) / LPO.
Indicating the need for co-authorship from another Specification Development Team (SDT) during CFAM development.
Sharing technical knowledge to software and integration teams.
Further specification as needed during maintenance work.
Technical Knowledge / Skills :
Experience in high level SW architecture design and requirement analysis.
Knowledge of and experience in system module components design and development.
Knowledge about architecture / components in BTS.
Knowledge in some OAM domains.
Rich telecommunication experience.
Knowledge in requirements engineering.
Agile / Lean / Scrum working experience.
Working experience with DOORS and Sphinx.
