Compliance Business Control Sr Manager
CBORC Retail Bank supports the Retail Bank Business and is responsible for providing a robust framework that enables effective risk and control management.
CBORC RBB works with business owners and operations units by providing objective reviews and guidance on risks and controls matters.
Aside from core CBORC functions he / she is responsible for, the Compliance Business Control Sr Manager acts as the primary point-
person for Manager's Control Assessment (MCA)
This position will report into CBORC Retail Bank head. Overall responsible in the Manager's Control Assessment (MCA) Coordination for GCB.
Performs MCA testing for Retail Branch Network, Investment, Insurance and CBORC entities. Provides governance and oversight on various MCA control activities such as the quarterly testing, Annual Risk Assessment and Gold Copy MCA rollout.
Responsible in the implementation of Key Automated Application Controls (KAAC), Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) program, CAATTs-
based digital control assessments for an effective MCA program
Provide the business and operations functions with advice and guidance on Internal Audit activities and regulatory reviews (e.
g., submission of deliverables, review of observations noted, logistics, etc)
Participate in risk and issue analysis and escalation, review of Lessons Learned, deep dive reviews
Review business and related functions’ policies and procedures (new and updated) for control-related items
Issue and Corrective Action Plan (CAP) Coordination
Standards and Procedures Coordination
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
Background or experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus
Technical Skills :
Strong analytical skills with an eye for details
Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in process improvement / project management is a plus
Personal Skills :
Strong team player with good relationship management skills for stakeholder and Senior Management engagement
Excellent work attitude, self-motivated, works well under pressure and readily adapts to changes in work priorities and environment
With problem-solving skills and able to exercise good judgment to balance policy and business requirements
Able to work with minimal supervision, with ability to multi-task and effectively manage and prioritize concurrent projects and deliverables with ad hoc tasks
