Bachelor’s degree in a science field
Minimum 5 years of experience as a specialist orsupervisor in quality and food safety system

Responsible for applying mastery knowledge offood safety systems, regulatory and Cargill requirements across the business inall areas of Food Safety and Quality.
Provides high level technical expertisein FSMS, QMS and document control. Able to handle projects that may involve newproducts or process that require development of systems and programs.
Able toeffectively collaborate and influence managers, R&D, operations, supplychain, and other functions or customers and suppliers / external manufacturers.
Ensure compliance to Cargill FSQR policies andprocedures and customer requirements.
Assist the Quality System / Compliance andRegulatory Manager in the development, and implementation of Quality managementsystem, new food safety and quality plant policies and procedures across thebusiness to address current and anticipated needs / gaps.
Creates, updates and maintains food safetymanagement system documentation.
Establishes and implements team protocols and procedures for documentation
In-depth supervision of Quality managementsystems (GMP / GHP, HACCP, FSM,, SSOPs, VDR program, internal / external auditing,instrumentation, computer system, etc.)
Has general knowledge of products and operationsand provides process recommendations and support for operations and otherfunctional areas, where needed.
This position may be called on for theirexpertise in helping other locations resolve problems, develop systems orhandle customer or supplier situations.
High level of collaboration with peers and technical contacts across theorganization.
Assist with customer and internal food safetyeducation and understanding.
Work with suppliers, external manufacturers anddistribution centersto ensure Cargillrequirements and product specifications are in compliance.
Train and develop managers, specialists, chemists, and customers.
