A top tier global bank service center which hosts shared services that include Finance & Risk Operations, General Services, and Human Resources, supporting over 60 countries in Asia, Europe, Middle East, and North America.
Partner with key stakeholders, including Country Controllers, Regional Finance and Global Process Owners in the remediation of key issues
Review training and talent development programs of the team to continuously align with changes in roles, processes and technologies.
Drive process changes through automation leveraging on digital technology in partnership with Global Process Owner
Enhance operational and analytical procedures of the team, ensuring key controls are in place
Maintain focus on Risk and Control ensuring the bank's framework is fully tested and effective
Provide accounting guidance and support for bank's business units
Interface with auditors both Internal and External
Perform other duties and functions as assigned
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this job, you should have an in depth understanding of a bank's balance sheet, accounting, and financial systems to guide the team in identifying risks and providing transparency to key stakeholders. Qualifications :
At least 15 years of experience in banking or a large financial Institution
Management experience in a Regional or Global Role is preferred
Work effectively in a team environment and in building collaborative relationship with peers and other stakeholders
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a complex environment
Good exposure on Microsoft Office, General Ledger, Product Processor and Reporting systems
Strong communications skills
