Position Overview

As MSCI continues to grow, we are very focused on our ability to attract, develop and retain talent. The Global Talent Management function has become a key driver in helping to shape the Firm’s approach and strategy in these areas.

The Manila Talent Management Lead will have the opportunity to fully engage in all aspects of continuing to shape and execute upon this strategy.

Scope of Responsibility

  • Build strong relationships with and be the trusted advisor’ and Talent Management consultant for APAC regional HR Partners and managers to understand local challenges and opportunities in developing and retaining talent in partnership with the APAC TM Lead
  • Collaborate with local and APAC Regional HR Partners to identify solutions to address local and regional needs while leveraging global programs and content.
  • Partner with the APAC TM Lead to design and / or deliver a range of professional and people development skills trainings including Success MSCI (MSCI’s framework that guides our high-performance culture strategic goal through high levels of engagement) and management / leadership development programs, both in-person, virtual and online learning across the region.
  • Coordinates and partners with multiple teams within and outside of the organization, to design, develop, track and ensure on-time and high-quality completion of learning programs.
  • Tracks and reports progress through all stages, coordinates and communicates status and updates with stakeholders. This includes escalating challenges / roadblocks to APAC TM Lead to address obstacles / roadblocks.
  • Collaborate on the design of curriculum for Success MSCI, management and leadership development ongoing with the program owners.
  • Work with the APAC TM Lead to develop a plan to invest Education & Training budget effectively Be the Program Lead for specific learning programs, responsible for the design and upkeep of all training materials, agreeing the delivery plan and schedule with the other Regional TM Leads and Global Head of L&D and delivering programs locally and regionally.
  • Design new development offerings, training programs / workshops and update existing content to enable high-quality learning programs are delivered across the region (both in-person and virtual).
  • These need to be in alignment to the development needs of the location / function.

  • Identify development needs and deliver professional skills programs locally and within the region. Leverage global program and relevant programs in other functions.
  • Manage third-party vendor and consulting relationships as needed.
  • Specific Knowledge / Skills

  • Proven training deliverer and program designer with solid experience of consulting with stakeholders
  • Solid demonstrated strengths in communicating effectively at all levels, developing and nurturing others, coaching managers on developing their teams, and thinking innovatively and strategically about talent development. Experience in
  • o Collaborating with HR Partners, managers and employees at all levels as their Talent Management trusted advisor and solutions provider

    o Designing and delivering in-person and on-line learning programs

    o Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and ability to work within tight timelines

  • Familiarity with HR systems a plus (Workday Learning)

  • Desired Experience

  • Experience in the financial service industry a plus Desired Qualifications
  • BA in related field or business
