Purpose & Accountabilities :
The Period End Analyst is responsible for the oversight and control of the month-end closing process for Downstream business using the SERP system.
Although this is an individual contributor role, it does require strong leadership skills. This desk works closely with the whole Finance Organization across SBO and extending up to the onshore business.
One of the key deliverables of this desk is to facilitate the month-end closing process to ensure all closing deadlines as required by Group are met on a timely basis.
In addition to running key closing jobs in GSAP system, this desk has the responsibility to monitor and ensure that all jobs running in the closing monitoring tool (FCC) are completed successfully.
This desk also requires an understanding of closing procedures that take place in the different feeder processes (i.e. Accounts Payable, Group Services & Recoveries etc.
and the impact of their work on the closing schedule and processes. This coordination process involves working with people at the manufacturing sites, Shared Service Centers, and Head Office and requires strong multi-
tasking and prioritization skills.
Outside of month-end closing, Blackline Local administration function, metrics reporting and special projects are also expected.

2. Must be able to build rapport and interact across different levels and nationalities
3. Working with SERP closing group to build synergies across common processes
4. Ensuring full SOX compliance for the controls that this desk is responsible for
5. 3 weeks Dayshift and 1 wk Midshift or Nighshift
