About the Job

We are looking for a Technical Lead to lead our well-established global development teams. This position will report directly to the Software Development Manager and manage a team of up to 5 knowledge workers.

Recruited candidates will be working remotely from home during COVID-19 circumstances until further notice.

About You

You’re an innovative individual who is interested in helping lead teams in development of web apps. You enjoy being able to lead a team while still contributing to architecture, design and development of the team product.

You love a challenge and you work well with other team members including designers, architects, product managers, support and your development teammates.

We will provide you with ample training and support but we do need you to be a motivated and independent worker.

What You’ll Do

Lead a technical team of up to 5 developers and QA members

Take ownership of codebase and suggest design improvements for refactoring

Create technical roadmap and innovate with the team on the technical direction of the product

Work with a product manager to establish sprints for team to work on

Work to produce the best possible team outcome with the team under your management

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

10+ years experience with development environments

Experience with front end or server side architecture

Responsible for team of software development members

Ability to communicate architectural intent

Ensure standards and best practices are followed and code reviews are implemented to catch outstanding violations

Contribute to workflow and process improvement suggestions based on your team operating model

Accountable for actions and work taken by the members of your unit

Report escalations to Software Development Manager

Consult on additional team hires to ensure team fit

Nice To Have

Microsoft .Net development experience

Vue.js, Angular or React development experience

MS SQL development experience

Work schedule : Monday to Friday / 4 : 00 pm to 1 : 00 am

This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City or in our office in Cebu, depending on your home base / location.
