The Sales Manager leads and motivates the Sales Acquisition team composed of sales executives to meet and exceed team and individual goals.

He / She is expected to build a high achieving sales acquisition team to identify sales leads, pitch Lalamove’s services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.

He / She must be able work well under pressure and exhibits a spirit of excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Sales operations : acquire and onboard business users by maintaining a healthy pipeline of leads, and by developing and nurturing professional relationships
  • Business development : develop new business opportunities and partnerships with customers
  • Sales standards : identify, build and enforce Standard Operating Procedures and Policies to support the activity and solve or prevent issues
  • Performance : lead and develop a high caliber sales acquisition team who are driven to deliver results. Regularly track the performance of his / her team to close deals and build corrective / improving initiatives
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time

  • Can-do attitude and grit to make things happen, to identify and leverage new opportunities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to communicate accurately to potential users
  • Affable personality to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Strong at negotiation to get the best deal out of every partnership
  • Minimum 3 years relevant sales experience in a supervisory capacity (Startup / logistics industry is a plus)
  • College Degree / Diploma holder
  • Excellent problem solving, presentation, lead generation and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM programs is a plus
