Get to know the Role :
Analyse data to quickly understand trends in supply and user demand
Motivate our fleet partners and drivers based on our data insights to optimize their performance while maintaining first class service
Responsible for maintaining the relationship of all fleet partners to ensure that the fleets are performing to their very best standards
The day-to-day activities :
Perform direct administrative control and supervision over the staff of the fleet management department
Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection, scheduling vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
Manage the day-to-day operations of the fleet management department and approves all requests and other documents that are issued by the department.
Conduct periodic performance evaluation of all direct reports to ensure their continued efficiency and productivity.
Continuously formulate and propose new policies and procedures by which the services provided by the fleet management department may be improved both in quality and in turn-around time.
Regularly conducts lectures and seminars for employees regarding any aspect of the duties and responsibilities of the fleet management department.
Prepare and present all required reports that are relevant to the company’s operation.
Schedule meetings or discussions with drivers to get feedback on the quality of service being rendered by fleet management department if necessary.
Initiate innovations on fleet management services and introduce possible value-added services.
Authorizes Job Requests and Purchase Orders related to fleet maintenance services.
Responsible for the development and updating of fleet management system.
Perform other functions related to the position that may be assigned from time to time.
The must haves :
Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering / automotive technology
5 years of working experience in Fleet Management
Preferably licensed Mechanical Engineer
Experience in car dealership is an advantage
With upstanding ethical character
Excellent leadership, management, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive in resolving problems
Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
Hard working and motivated to build a better version of taxis for drivers and riders in Manila
Cares about staff, works to train them & hold them accountable
Willing to do hands on task for fleet department when needed
