We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR, Marillac Hills (MH) has a vacant Psychologist I position SG 11 under a Memorandum of Agreement with monthly compensation rate of Php18,549.

00 .Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (July to December 2013) :

Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Psychology

Training : None Required

Experience : None Required

Eligibility : Career Service Professional / Second level Eligibility /

Registered Psychologist / Psychometrician

Additional Requirements / Competencies :

  • Ready and qualified for Licensure examinations and / or Licensure without examination for Psychologists in compliance to RA 10029
  • With experience working with abused & trauma victims / survivor
  • With knowledge in counseling and psychological testing
  • With good coordination, communication and report writing skills
  • With positive work attitude and can work well under pressure
  • Possess creative, critical and analytical thinking
  • Stewardship of Resources
  • Has commitment to Social Protection and Development
  • Flexible and with initiative
  • Computer Literate
  • Can deliver excellent results
  • Primary Functions :

    vAdminister psychological tests to all clients, and evaluates them to determine their personality profile (psychodiagnostic assessment).

    vFormulates rehabilitation plan of individual clients.

    vPreset the psychological diagnosis in case conference.

    vExecutes the psycho-management of cases and provides counseling services (if necessary).

    vRecommends the formulation or modification of policies and procedures relative psychological services.

    vSupervises student in field placement, counselors who are observing and participating in the agency programs.

    vAttends conference, workshop seminar, staff meeting as part of staff development and professional growth.

    vPerforms other related tasks as maybe assigned by the immediate supervisor.
