Key responsibilities

  • Independently lead a large SCM / FWD / VAS documentation team for highly critical, top revenue generating clients or for multiple countries / regions with direct reports including Team Leaders and Team Managers.
  • Reporting directly to the Global Execution Lead in the GSC.

  • Establishing and developing effective people and process leadership.
  • Create a robust talent pipeline in all site process teams within this portfolio.
  • Drive engagement by constantly communicate clear goals and vision of strategy and the role of the team in achieving these goals.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder and business partners in origin and corporate organisation.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews to track and constantly improve processes / people key to our business. Deliver continuous improvements through standardization & improvement of process capability.
  • Mentor and coach direct reports to enhance their skills and capability in the organization & to identify and retain the right talent.
  • Is accountable for the performance of the entire team. Improve process execution through improvement of process capability, standardization and implementation of transformational changes
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to migrations framework and contribute towards achieving successfully migration
  • Run global and local improvement projects liaising with cross functional teams or external stakeholders contributing to the overall efficiency gains or improve in service levels towards clients.
  • Monitors and ensures that the migration framework is complied with and successful migration completion.
  • We are looking for

  • Graduate degree from university with a degree in logistics and / or business administration
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience of Logistics or shipping with minimum of 5 years in a leadership position
  • Experience working in a global business environment, including cultural aspects
  • Proven stakeholder management experience and exposure to senior leadership
