Independently lead a large SCM / FWD / VAS documentation team for highly critical, top revenue generating clients or for multiple countries / regions with direct reports including Team Leaders and Team Managers.
Reporting directly to the Global Execution Lead in the GSC.
Establishing and developing effective people and process leadership.
Create a robust talent pipeline in all site process teams within this portfolio.
Drive engagement by constantly communicate clear goals and vision of strategy and the role of the team in achieving these goals.
Effectively manage stakeholder and business partners in origin and corporate organisation.
Conduct periodic performance reviews to track and constantly improve processes / people key to our business. Deliver continuous improvements through standardization & improvement of process capability.
Mentor and coach direct reports to enhance their skills and capability in the organization & to identify and retain the right talent.
Is accountable for the performance of the entire team. Improve process execution through improvement of process capability, standardization and implementation of transformational changes
Responsible for ensuring adherence to migrations framework and contribute towards achieving successfully migration
Run global and local improvement projects liaising with cross functional teams or external stakeholders contributing to the overall efficiency gains or improve in service levels towards clients.
Monitors and ensures that the migration framework is complied with and successful migration completion.
We are looking for
Graduate degree from university with a degree in logistics and / or business administration
Minimum 10 years relevant experience of Logistics or shipping with minimum of 5 years in a leadership position
Experience working in a global business environment, including cultural aspects
Proven stakeholder management experience and exposure to senior leadership
