The position is assigned in the Office of the Director General (SPOD) within the Strategy Policy and Review Department (SPD).
SPD provides ADB with strategic planning perspectives and direction, ensures policy and operations coordination, supports allocation and monitoring of the use of operational resources, manages the implementation of development results and effectiveness, and maintains institutional relations with the international development community.
SPOD supports the Director General in managing the department's key result areas, human and financial resource requirements.

The Senior Planning and Policy Specialist (Institutional Coordination) will provide strategic and administrative support to the Director General and SPD Management Team.
contributing to operational results reports; and overseeing human and financial resource requirements of the department.
He / she acts as focal of SPD in relevant working groups in ADB and oversee coordination with other departments.
The incumbent will report to Advisor, SPOD, and may supervise one or more national and administrative staff.
Relevant Experience & Requirements
Alternatively, university degree in related fields combined with additional relevant professional experience can be considered.
Pacific Region, and of the broader international development agenda.
The selected candidate is appointed for an initial term of 3 years.
