Job Title : Head of Data Management
Reports to : Head of Sales RX REPH
Based at : Manila, Philippines

The purpose of this role is to oversee the data management team at REPH, whose main function is to support Reed Exhibitions with data building and data enrichment projects.
Data building projects involve the creation of new data either for existing or new events. Enrichment projects cover the enrichment of existing data, which also includes segmentation.
Segmentation is key part of RX’s sales strategy, which enables the creation of targeted sales campaigns.
On a day to day basis, the job will involve :
Advise RX Business Units on the most optimal approach for each data build and data enrichment project in order to achieve their business objectives and maximize sales revenue
Develop an in-depth understanding of RX show portfolio, industry and sub-industry classification and data availability to advise on the various data projects
Coordinate project delivery by liaising with the various internal stakeholder, including RX Business Units, ISG data management team, REPH data supervisors and REPH data administrators
Develop an in-depth understanding of the current data management practices and look for ways of continuous improvement
Develop high level proficiency in using the International Sales Group’s (ISG) custom data management tool DIAS
Deliver the segmentation project to the ISG, supplying product category enrichment to our international prospect database
Ensure that data quantity and quality targets are consistently met across all projects
Lead the REPH data team and manage the data supervisors
You could be the right person for the role if you have :
Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in data management, marketing, market research, business administration or communications
Strong background in research and analysis on multiple industries and sectors - background in exhibitions industry is a plus
5-7 years’ experience in a similar role, managerial role
Demonstrable experience in strategic advisory services preferably to external clients
Demonstrable experience in classification / taxonomy work
Solid background in data, insights, market research and market analysis
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to interpret large amounts of data and see patterns and structures in data sets
Highly organised approach to work, with excellent observation skills and attention to detail
Experience of relationship management of internal or external clients and stakeholders
A confident presenter of ideas and insights, in person or via teleconference
Advanced user of Excel
Knowledge of laws and policies surrounding data privacy is a plus
