The Wellness Specialist will lead and coordinate efforts to support RingCentral’s initiative to improve the health and wellness of all employees.
The Wellness Specialist will closely coordinate with Employee Engagement Team, Culture Council, and other partners to supervise, direct, and facilitate the implementation of the overall RingCentral Manila Wellness Strategy and Program.
Duties and responsibilities :
Strategy and Oversight :
Plans, develops, coordinates, and evaluates a comprehensive employee wellness program advised toward reducing health risks and improving health status.
Enhances the awareness of the factors that can affect health and longevity, encouraging employees to take increased responsibility for their health behaviors.
Coordinates activities with Employee Engagement Team, Culture Council and Acquire partners.
Establishes and maintains partnerships with external partners and providers (Maxicare, Gold’s Gym, South Star Drug, Venteny, etc.).
Creates and coordinates wellness communication pieces.
See opportunities for improved communication around wellness plans and implement ideas in a timely manner.
Documents and shares more formalized policies and processes for consistent application where appropriate.
Prepares communications, news releases, and articles on health topics and develops information for newsletters.
Coordinates health and wellness fairs, health screenings, and various health-related workshops.
Reports Analysis :
Compiles statistical summaries of participant and wellness champion activity data, and attendance to ensure proper detailed program evaluation.
Assembles data from a variety of sources for use in the assessment and planning of health and wellness programs.
Organizes feedback and advice with Employee Engagement, Culture Council, and Acquire partners is vital.
Assists with program budget development and transactions; and audits monthly expenditures.
Analyzes interpret and report research findings and recommendations.
Provides data for long-term planning for the Employee Wellness Program.
Program / Policy Management :
Lead administration and approval of all processes related to wellness.
Sees opportunities for operational improvements and works on various multi-functional projects.
Project Management :
Analyze, deﬁne, and document project objectives and requirements.
Create project plans, deﬁne scope, and lead resource requirements.
Articulate in results, develop project timelines Facilitate communication, meetings, and project updates to project team and partners Ensure on-time and on-budget completion of projects.
Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. A degree in Human Resources, Health Education, Nutrition, Physical Education, or a related field.
At least 3-4 years of experience as a Wellness Specialist, with extensive experience in health / wellness programming experience and / or demonstrated competence in health wellness management.
At least 5-7 years of experience in the field of Human Resources.
Advance Microsoft Excel user. Macro / VBA skills are a plus.
Can Create PowerPoint presentation decks.
Superior communication skills, solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
Previous experience moving strategies / ideas from the conceptual stage through the implementation and the execution.
Preferably holds a certification in health and wellness.

Proven project management skills and experience handling sophisticated and / or cross-functional project(s).
Strong interpersonal communication skills (advising and influencing) required.
Strong technical and analytical skills, problem-solving, and resolution skills.
The ability to effectively communicate and handle tasks is required.
