Job Description
The studio manager is responsible for the management, planning, and organization of the photo studio. He / she must be able to coordinate a team whose objective is the execution of digital photographs and videos for the different business platforms and uses.
PART TIME or FULL TIME onsite work in Sto. Domingo, Angeles City.
Responsibilities
Coordination and maintenance of photo / video rooms.
Plan, set up, and complete all the activities related to the photo studio including the relations with all the stakeholders involved.
Prepare the set according to the customer’s requests and the photographer’s needs, including placing props, determining where customers should sit or stand, and adjusting light sources
Book customers’ appointments, keep track of scheduling to deal with any conflicts, and answer customers’ questions about services
Basic image editing skills to retouch and enhance photos
Distribute edited photos to the customer through an online photo gallery service or in print
Management and maintenance of photo, video and lighting equipment including the enhancement and the negotiation of the service level agreements for assistance and support on equipment.
Research and evaluation of appropriate technological solutions for the realization of digital photographic and video contents
Qualifications
Basic to intermediate photo-editing experience in applications like Photoshop, Lightroom
Must have above average in English communication skills (verbal and written), with sound decision making.
Highly organized and with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have basic knowledge about internet and web applications. You will need to learn new web technologies that we use on a daily basis.
Skills - Preferred
Sound knowledge of digital and SLR cameras and lighting sets consistent with established standards
Understanding of visual composition and in-house photoshoots
Experience or passion in art and design, or model making, and experience in the basics of prop making is a plus
