    Due to the dynamic nature of the business your responsibilities may change over time as the business evolves.

    As a Senior Accountant you will be primarily responsible for general accounting, financial analysis and reporting tasks including support for monthly, half year and year-end financial reporting process.

  • On a daily basis, you will be expected to;
  • Records and / or validates company transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of company financial reports
  • Post entries to the general ledger and manage month-end / adjusting entries
  • Maintain company’s book of accounts
  • Prepare annual government reports and ensures monthly and quarterly compliance
  • Validates company disbursements and monitor payment release
  • Provide functional support during ERP software implementation projects
  • Prepare audit schedules and assist during external audit
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Helps resolve daily accounting problems
  • Handle other accounting tasks
  • To be considered for this role, you would need;
  • A university degree in Accountancy and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • 5+ years’ experience in Financial Reporting and Taxation
  • Experience working on ad-hoc projects related to ERP software implementation. Experience in using Oracle E-Business Suite applications would be an advantage
  • A Strong understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
