The Project Manager is responsible for the provision of high-level project planning that will support the Country General Manager in implementation and execution of key projects within Customer Operations, Digital and IT, Enterprise and Government, Finance, Fibre Operations and other Business Units within the organization.

This role will be focused in operational project transitions and management, business transformation and conceptualization through implementation that supports the goals and needs of the business.

  • Oversee end-to-end Project Management involving scoping, build-out, project planning, progress tracking, until a certain project is fully turned over to operations
  • Maintain strong collaboration with the Senior Operations Team and Executive Leadership
  • Responsible to effective communication between stakeholder requirements to appropriate teams across all levels and manage all project expectations accordingly
  • Organizes and facilitates project planning, daily stand up meetings, reviews, implementation planning and other agile project related meetings
  • Tracks progress and reviews project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately
  • Proactively communicates project status, issues & risks to management
  • Ensure all regulatory compliances are aligned to mitigate future risks involving contractual obligations with stakeholders / clients / onshore partners etc
  • Conducts regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder’s needs and requirements continuously in view
  • Ensures project teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility
  • Plans, organizes, directs, controls and coordinates policy advice and strategic planning for Operations
  • Support the establishment of strategic Operations policy and framework
  • Support the establishment of documentation of business case studies relating to key thematic areas for use in policy initiatives
  • Implement and / or manage the writing and production of high quality policy, procedures and process map papers
  • Manages research initiatives in collaboration with relevant teams and external partners
  • Actively participates to identify and act on opportunities for improvement, operational and quality policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates awareness and understanding of the organization’s aims and objectives
  • Uses the organization’s strategic goals and objectives to focus and prioritize improvement activity
  • Creates opportunities and contributes to the organization’s capacity building activities
  • Works with different Business Leader to lead the transformation and continuous improvement of existing processes
  • Skills and Experience Required :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field is required for this role.
  • Must have at least 8 to 12 years’ experience working for a matrixed and complex organization, preferably BPO / shared services industry
  • Preferably 3 to 5 years or substantial work experience on Project Management
  • Strategic and Tactical Project Management, Communication and Transitions capability
  • Adaptive in a fast moving organization that can highly interdependent ecosystem to deliver results
  • Outcomes focused mindset
  • Ability to make sound decisions and creative in developing alternative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and drive multiple projects while remaining proactive and flexible in style
  • Familiar with Pareto / Fish bone analysis and other forms of effective report presentation
