Are you
Experienced in demonstrating project management, leadership, communication, relationship building, analytical, interpersonal, multi-tasking and organization skills and focus on quality and attention to detail
Have worked on Financial Services clients
Demonstrating advanced understanding of Tax compliance management, International Tax principles, Mergers and Acquisitions, Tax Due diligence, tax structuring and guide the team to apply these on client advisory projects.
Knowledge of updates in International tax market including OECD, BEPS, treaty provisions would be an added advantage.
Excellent client management skills
Experienced to handle multiple engagements within the practice assigned and therefore must have the ability to multi-task.
Excellent transaction structuring and report writing skills with an aptitude to highlight the tax issues and sensitise the clients on the same
Experienced in handling a team of approx. 2-5 people
Proficient in strong communication, both written and verbal and ability to present research findings
Proficient using MS Office tools specifically Powerpoint, WORD, EXCEL and Advance Excel.
An exciting opportunity with our APAC Financial Services Tax team :
Your main objective is to participate in compliance and advisory engagements by thoroughly and accurately analysing information and develop effective approaches to client’s tax requirements.
You will be required to demonstrate dedication to quality in all aspects of your work, which will include managing client service team members and contributing to the achievement of team goals.
Developing and delivering tax advice on projects such as transaction structuring, tax due diligence, cross border acquisition and corporate restructuring, treaty analysis amongst others.
Assisting on tax compliance engagements by
o Reviewing the work done by the Seniors and Staff,
o Managing the client by obtaining the required information, analysing the same and addressing the queries raised by the client;
o Liaising with the onshore teams in getting the work reviewed;
Participate in business development initiatives
Managing client expectations, wherever required, in consultation with project leaders
Assist in managing engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders
Build strong internal relationships within the team and across other services
Foster collaboration and constructive communication within the team.
Display general knowledge of engagement big picture
Develop, mentor and supervise Staffs and Seniors
Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining and training the professionals
Maintain a robust educational program by conducting trainings to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis
Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently
Experience :
5-8 Years of Tax Advisory and tax compliance experience. Mandatory that the candidate has a prior experience in an International tax advisory and compliance practice in a client facing role.
Education / Qualifications
Chartered Accountant / MBA / CPA
B. Com / BBA / BBM / BA (Economics) / (Statistics) / MA (Economics) / MBA / CFA
Any Additional Degree / Diploma / Specialization in fields related to Tax / International Taxation
