We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Network Operations Team Lead who is committed to their work, and should be comfortable working in a fast paced, highly flexible environment.

The role will be responsible for providing leadership to deliver excellent technical support and customer service as part of our Network Operations support.

The role reports to the Network Service Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Demonstrated expertise in leading technical teams.
  • Telecoms engineering background preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in scheduling rotas for 24 / 7 team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Familiar with the following technologies : SS7, Sigtran, Diameter, GTP, BGP, VPN.
  • Commitment to provide a high quality and professional service.
  • Ability to prioritise work tasks.
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • ITIL v4 Foundations
  • CCNA / CCNP
  • Experience with Monitoring tools such as Grafana, PRTG, Solarwinds, Power BI.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Lead a 24 / 7 team who coordinates with Level 1 support and engineering teams to resolve network and system incidents.
  • Line management of Network Operations Team
  • Track team performance against defined success KPIs
  • Ability to motivate and mould a high performing team.
  • Administer and resolve network issues, provide updates, and perform root cause analysis
  • Work with vendors and partners to resolve service incidents.
  • Supervise all alerts related to application and system procedures and provide services pro-actively
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
  • Maintain good professional relationships with counterparts of engineering and customer’s departments where required
  • Provide support and identify all issues and prepare appropriate documentation all issues and solutions.
  • Recommend ways to optimize performance and provide solution to problems and prepare reports for all problems.
