JOB SUMMARY

CBREs Global Data Privacy Office (GDPO) is seeking a highly motivated Coordinator, Global Operations and Change Management to join our team.

As part of Ethics & Compliance, the GDPO is accountable and responsible for designing and maintaining CBREs global data privacy compliance strategy and framework.

We regularly advise on legal and regulatory privacy compliance, create privacy-compliant policies, processes, guidelines and training, and work with business stakeholders to build a privacy culture and ensure the global privacy program is put into practice.

This instrumental role will assist in coordinating the management of the internal operations of the GDPO and project delivery in the area of change management.

The primary goal is to assist the Global Operations and Change Management Lead to partner with GDPO colleagues to drive impactful business outcomes that improve the data protection and privacy culture at CBRE.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

As Coordinator, Global Operations and Change Management, your primary responsibilities will include :

Team and Program Operations (40%)

  • Maintain GDPO internal operations resources, including the Operations Playbook, GDPO Onboarding Handbook, and other resources.
  • Coordinate activities with CBREs People team to ensure seamless recruiting, onboarding and offboarding processes for the GDPO team and coordinate GDPO welcome and onboarding activities.
  • Coordinate internal team trainings, bi-weekly meetings, team engagement activities, and agendas.
  • Assist with coordination of the GDPOs annual Strategic Planning sessions.
  • Coordinate the maintenance and updating of Privacy Program accountability documentation, including the Global Data Protection and Privacy Program Compliance Binder.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and assist with tracking the GDPOs discretionary budget annually.
  • Assist with coordinating all other operational aspects of the GDPO.
  • Change Management (60%)

  • Manage the annual strategic Change Management Plan to address the Privacy Programs key risks and maturity goals, including a modular training curriculum, awareness campaigns, and communications
  • Work cross-functionally with CBRE Communications, Ethics & Compliance, and the Global Cyber Security Office to deliver a coherent and aligned change management program.
  • Manage the vendor selection and engagement process, arranging for voice-overs, translations into all languages in which CBRE does business, and publication on all CBRE platforms including the intranet, learning and development platforms and collaborative team sites.
  • Maintain and update the GDPO Change Management Library of Resources and coordinate with business and corporate function leaders for opportunities to deliver in-person training and awareness through established team meetings and communication tools.
  • Other tasks assigned as necessary.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities

    No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and / or training to coworkers.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

    To succeed in this role, you must :

  • Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in organizational psychology or related fields.
  • Have 2-4 years demonstrable experience program and / or change management experience.
  • Preferably be certified in ProSci / Change Management, or Lean Six Sigma or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • Be creative and resourceful to drive interest and engagement in CBREs privacy culture and compliance program.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effectively prioritize workstreams and efficiently manage time and resources.
  • Demonstrate perseverance, resilience and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, available resourcing, and legal regimes.
  • Be able to work flexibly to accommodate other time zones when necessary
  • Be able to motivate and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders to take desired action.
  • Preferably have experience working at a large, multinational corporation.
  • Be team-focused with a passion for learning, excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate respect and integrity in working with others at all levels of the business.
  • Be able to resolve conflicts with others in a professional and productive manner.
  • Have proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of applications.
  • Preferably have proficiency in Smartsheet, including ability to create plans, reports and integrated dashboards.
  • Preferably have experience using tools such as Camtasia, Captivate or other related tools to build presentations and training modules.
