Major responsibilities of a Sr. Supply Chain Analystare the collection, organization, management, and analysis of vast amount ofdata needed to develop and execute Supply Chain strategies for Vertiv and itsbusiness units.
A Sr. Supply Chain Analyst also support any other core supplychain programs that will impact the overall supply chain decision.
Gather,scrub, manipulate and analyze data as requested to generate supply chainreports.
Publish supply chain reports accurately and on a timely manner.
Analyze data and reporting solutions to understand business impact,correlation / discrepancies, and to propose changes or alternate solutions.
Driveand lead changes as necessary.
Work with business unit contact on necessarychanges and enhancements that will be applied to the reports.
Coordinate andcommunicate with suppliers for reports that need supplier review and feedback.
Lead / co-lead implementation of Vertiv key supply chain KPI's / reports, andprogram thru data reporting and in-depth analyses.
Provide adhoc supply chainreports and analysis as requested.
Support Sourcing project or activity forVertiv and its business units either on-line or off-line as requested : -Managing the supply base of a Sourcing project by effectively communicatingproject details to the suppliers, reporting supplier activities and concerns tothe project team, and executing the event.
Managing the data of a Sourcingproject by making sure that all data are complete and accurate througheffective communication with the project team.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or relateddiscipline, preferably with an Engineering degree Job Related Experience :
Atleast 5 years relevant experience in Supply Chain / Procurement
With at least3 year experience in E-Sourcing or off-line negotiation Specific Knowledge :
Advance MS Excel knowledge is a must - ability to work with pivot tables,charts, macros (preferred)
Self-motivated, driven individual who iscomfortable working in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment
Comfortableworking at senior management level and supporting executive leadership
Stronganalytical skills; should have the ability to evaluate, analyze and presentdata
Attention to detail; initiative, follow-up, and a desire for end-to-endownership of deliverables
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility to handle directional changes and ability to support multipleprojects while maintaining day-to-day business support
Ability tocomprehensively understand data elements, sources and relationships
Abilityto build effective relationships in a cross-functional team environment
Musthave a passion to understand the operational value of data and analysis
