What are my responsibilities?
Perform all of the sales activities for the assigned territory.
Achieve or exceed the annual sales budget, while achieving growth and profit targets for the company and total customer satisfaction
Support current clients and partners in order to maximize and increase business opportunities
Manage all stages of new business development from prospecting and lead generation to proposal and closing new business
Identify and develop local system integrators and partners to increase adoption of Process Automation and Instrumentation products and to ensure successful implementation and support
Drive the specification of PCS7 and Instrumentation in EPC design, end user projects and standards
Ensure complete territory and vertical assignment coverage by coordinating with relevant sales channels
Pro-actively generate new business in new markets and new customer bases
Make cold calls and palnned off-site visits to gather information and maintain relationships with customers
Meet with customers and suppliers as needed to supplement sales calls and professionally represent the company
Maintain qualifications and technical education to support the sales function
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Five or more years sales experience in industrial process automation and instrumentation, or a related or complementary field
Experience managing channel partners and integrators (optional but highly desirable)
BS in Engineering or related discipline (optional but highly desirable)
Strong work ethic and high energy level
Must be an intelligent, articulate, independent thinker who can develop a sales plan to achieve the results as determined by Senior Management
Must have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Must be Fluent in one or more local languages and have excellent English language skills
Proven record of meeting or exceeding quota in previous positions
Experience using consultative approach to complex sales, selling the value of a solution and not just the functionality of a product.
Good organizational skills, customer follow-up and cold calling skills
Strong Interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel (approx. 60%). Preferably based in Visayas or Mindanao
Ability to generate and qualify leads, prepare and present proposals and follow through through
