A wholly owned subsidiary* of the Deutsche Bank Group, operating out of the Phillipinnes, DKS provides accounting, reporting, profit and loss, cost, reconciliation, MIS, risk control, information technology and operations services (including confirmations and settlements) to internal businesses worldwide.

Roel Description :

The Trade and Transaction Operator provides operational expertise and independent governance to achieve timely, accurate and complete transaction management for Deutsche Bank and its clients.

The Trade and Transaction Operator’s responsibilities include technical, transactional and logistical input into the leadership team to ensure the Bank operates with the right balance of quality, flexibility, control and cost.

This is achieved through collaboration across businesses and divisions in an environment which maximises control and minimises operational risk, whilst maintaining exceptional client service levels.

The Trade and Transaction Operator strives to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with internal partners and external clients and within the wider market in order to improve market practices and platforms.

The Trade and Transaction Operator builds and manages partnerships between internal businesses to ensure that the Bank’s business objectives are delivered, comply with operational control, external regulation and continue to improve the Bank’s technology platforms.

They focus on new business initiatives and working as a team to ensure full front-to-back operational readiness for products ranging from high-

volume vanilla trading through to highly-complex structured transactions.

Responsibilities :

  • Daily Trade Capture of trades and reconciliations, and ensures all review points are cleared on a timely basis.
  • Responsible for the trade whole life cycle from trade inception, to regular rates reset, non-deliverable currencies conversion until its partial / full termination.
  • Performs various monthy reconciliation both on trade and book level to ensure no controls are breached.
  • Escalates aging issues or any irregularity in the processes to higher management as part of control stewardship
  • Main contact of Traders
  • Liaises with different support teams (e.g documentation team, settlements team, T+0 / T+1 Pnl teams) for escalation and remediation of issues encountered
  • Participates in CTB initiatives of the team as well as domain-wide and work with Transaction Services, Transaction Accounting and Business Control to understand / complete trade-
  • to-book process of a transaction

    Requirements :

  • Prior experience within Financial Services
  • Experience in managing people and leading change through a team.
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
  • A thirst for learning with flexibility to change and grow within the role.
  • Investigation / Problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and keep clear, accurate status reports.
  • Takes accountability for own actions and seeks aide from management when appropriate.
  • Displays insight and ability in identifying issues and helps to develop successful solutions.
  • Experience of working within a business support environment
  • Degree qualified. Preferably in Finance and Global Markets.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Able to work rotating shifts outlined below :
  • The team operate a rotating shift system between hours of 06 : 00 19 : 00 SGT Monday Friday. The successful applicant would be expected to work shifts and occasionally work outside of a standard working hours to accommodate volume spikes.
