  • Practicing critical thought to assess information during the research process
  • Employing different content strategies to simplify complex ideas, produce compelling copy, and drive customer action
  • Applying appropriate content styles and approaches based on target audience, content medium, end goal, and other factors
  • Approaching old topics from new angles to produce fresh, timely, and relevant content
  • Proofreading content to achieve a more refined and digestible copy
  • Working alongside different workstreams to produce various types of content such as whitepapers, infographics, press releases, blogs, website copy, emails, social media content, user manuals, and landing pages, among others
  • Become part of the Pursuit and Sales Enablement Team (PSET) by providing copywriting, content editing and proofreading support to the Bids and Proposals team
  • Assist Pursuit Teams with the coordination and development of quality proposals and other tasks in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and other proposal-related requests.
  • Work to best practice of the Arcadis Way of pursuit management.
  • Understand the bid process and work collaboratively with the Pursuits Teams to understand the client’s needs and tailor the bid accordingly.
  • Attend bid meetings and understand win themes to capture throughout the proposal.
  • Working closely with the Pursuit Team including technical personnel to provide editorial input to PQ and Proposals to improve the final submission and ensure that all submissions meet RFP requirements and compliance.
  • Write creative copy that positions the company as a market leader to a variety of types of clients and communicates our value propositions in every sector and service line.
  • Identify and re-work existing pre-written content in line with specific questions and bespoke to individual client requirements.
  • Improve quality of all sales content including CVs, Project Profiles, standard answers, company information etc.
  • Research and write information to support sales documents.
  • Assist with updating the database systems in order to achieve quality content.
  • Manage significant workloads in tight deadlines.
  • Apply client bid feedback to future responses drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance to PSET teams for how to improve their written skills.
  • Write processes and develop guidelines for content creation.
  • Look into developing best practice questions and answers for regions being supported
  • Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in coordinating, scheduling, editing and producing proposals, statement of qualifications, reports, pre-qualifications and presentations

  • Relevant business, marketing, sales, public relations, communication or similar degree
  • Knowledge of multidisciplinary civil engineering projects
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-pressured environment is desirable.
  • Experience in the professional services, consultancy or construction sector is preferable.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines without compromising work quality
  • Excellent coordination, communication, research and typing skills
  • A flair for creative writing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to details, including correct use of grammar and punctuation in written work
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a group of busy professionals
  • A flexible approach to work and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of stakeholders
