    In this role, you will help the organization in documenting and maintaining statutory compliance for over 30 global legal entities for intercompany transactions and enforce internal control over the balance sheet integrity for these accounts.

    The areas where the expertise lies is in ensuring that each intercompany transaction has legal and statutory basis that can withstand scrutiny from government agencies like tax auditors or other third party regulators, posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing entries and reconciliations, preparing cash forecasting statement, supporting month end closing, preparing reports and financial audit support.

    You will be responsible for Intercompany Account Reconciliations which involves recording & reconciliation of transactions, validating intercompany invoices, assuring that transactional relationships are in compliance with transfer pricing agreements between entities and coordination with our regional finance leaders and corporate treasury.

    You will be reconciling intercompany Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable General ledger and Sub ledger balances, researching and highlighting any differences.

    You will propose correcting transactions and entries to pay or net / clear valid intercompany balances. This position will be responsible for intercompany reconciliations for all regions Asia Pacific & Japan, Europe Middle East and Africa and North America.

    Roles and Responsibilities

  • In this role you are required to solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
  • Expected interaction is with global controlling, own team and direct supervisor. Detailed to moderate level of instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instruction on new assignments would be provided.

    Decisions impact own work. Individual contributor as a part of a team, with a predetermined, focused scope of work.

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Qualification :

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance or related field.
  • A minimum of 1-3-year experience ideally in intercompany accounting gained from a multinational business dealing with software products and consulting services.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Experience working in a Global business environment is desired.
