Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to work as a Nurse Clinician in our outpatient oncology infusion port-
draw clinics. Associate's degree in nursing considered, but must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in nursing at time of application (this must be stated on resume) , with a minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in oncology;
chemo certification, preferred. Shift : PRN, Casual. Oncology departments are open M-Sat.
The Nurse Clinician will work in a multidisciplinary environment which will require exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, clinical and administrative units.
This position will utilize nursing skills to perform patient assessments via phone or in person and implement nursing interventions;
as such the ability to use appropriate judgment, independent thinking and creativity when resolving patient care issues.
Also responsible for initiating & organizing patient education for the population this unit serves. AA / EOE. Required :

Registered Professional Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois.
Certification in Basic CPR issued by the American Heart Association.
Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in oncology.
