Purpose & Accountabilities :
The Operations Business Analyst supports key base business functions through engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
This role is the Lead Focal for managing RBA Insurance, Utilities / Waste Management, and Retail Site Uniforms. They also provide performance data analysis for the Retail channels and members of the Operations Solutions Team as well as post key Communications for our Channel partners.
Focal and analyst for the Direct Channel (RBA) insurance program. Working together with multiple third-party vendors on investigating, reconciling, and providing a monthly report on insurance claims.
Supports RBA base business on Waste Management and other Utilities to maintain healthy operational levels and identify improvement initiatives.
Oversees Site Uniform standards and supply , working together with the Global Operations Team and a third-party vendor.
Supports Performance Enablement Coordinator with communications posts on MarketHub and WorkJam.
Performs PMTDR analysis using KPI’s to arrive at Reward & Recognition recipients for Quarterly and Annual outcomes aligned with the Operations Performance Advisor.
Act as the focal point for inquiries and appeals on the Site Essentials Assessment (SEA) program.
Manage the Retailer / Dealer Service Awards, Offer Book, and support elements of the RBA & DO contracts. This includes updating / maintaining contract contents, ensuring compliance to Global Operating Platform Principles and local legislation, and administering contract lifecycle (signing / renewals / terminations).
Focal for Site Policies & Procedures Manual (SPPM) for RBA and Manual for Retail Service Agreements (MRSA) for DO with respect to all required updates as outlined in the RBA and DO contracts.
Indirect Channel (DO & GBW) support on elements of Shell Shop and DO Rebates for accuracy and identify process improvement.
Supports Operations team with business analysis on an as needed basis to assist in developing insights leading to recommendations in enhancing performance results.
Supporting role in the management of Modelling and Planning Tool (MAPT); facilitating target setting for fuel volume, shop and car wash sales, and Retailer costs for Direct Channel (RBA) sites across Canada.
This role holds key supporting functions with dotted-line relationships to members in the Operations Solutions Team including;
the Program Operations Manager in the management of $18.5M in utilities costs and approx. $3M in insurance cost allocation through Shell’s 3rd Party Insurance provider.
the Operations Performance Advisor in Quarterly & Yearly evaluations of PMTDR performance outcomes and associated KPI’s
