Bunge has strong presence in Philippines’ market for serving food and feed raw material customers with market share leadership in proteins, feed grains and milling wheat.

Philippines’ business is strategically important for Bunge’s US crush business, EGT grains exports terminal, Australian Bunbury port and wheat export programs.

Bunge has ambitious plans for growing the Distribution business in Asia under Distribution2.0 strategy and Philippines has been identified as one of the strategic markets for the CNF imports program and setting up local distribution business through customer partnerships including exploring opportunities in port-based handling and distribution operations.

The role will be responsible for managing Bunge’s commercial operations in Philippines to meet these business aspirations and objectives.

Overtime, the incumbent is expected to build a strong local business integrated with Bunge’s origination assets, customer partnerships, added value solutions portfolio and building local talent to manage the business growth.

Main Accountabilities :

  • Develop and execute the marketing plan for Philippines in close collaboration with Asia value chain leads, Global value chains and Origination offices.
  • Direct accountability for the CNF volumes, pipeline profitability, value added solutions and other customer performance metrics for Philippines.
  • Ownership and accountability for managing multiple stakeholders including strategic customers, government officials, regulators, business associates, and trade partners.
  • Responsible for building strategic partnerships with customers for business growth and sustainability. Responsible for scouting the business growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for country business risk management, m2m exposure, customer execution risk management, logistics planning and execution
  • Responsible for demand planning, market intelligence, competition activity, local government policies, import grid updates and country S&D in collaboration with the Asia commercial and research team for Philippines
  • Point person for other businesses like BSF / FRM and other Global functions for developing and executing customer value added solutions as One Bunge
  • Actively build & grow local talent to manage the local business activities effectively
  • 10+ related industry experiences in the feed industry / commodity / Agri-food business
  • Graduate qualification from reputed institution
  • Professional certification in international trade and supply chain management
  • Experience in managing Industrial customer in B2B forma
