This is a truly dynamic HR generalist role that offers the opportunity to work on a range of tasks and projects across multiple stakeholders supporting all Macquarie business units.
Working as part of our supportive and high performing Human Resources team, the position is responsible for tasks including, but not limited to, managing wellness activities, enabling employee benefit availment and facilitating work permits for Manila staff.
The position will also be tasked with managing enquiries from and reports to local authorities, coordinating with external vendors and managing ad-hoc daily HR requests relating to the Manila office.
The position is responsible for supporting HR generalist tasks, including but not limited to the following
Staff movements from employee on-boarding, employee transfers, changes in work arrangements and exit processes
Payroll and company-provided benefits including, but not limited to, our group health and risk insurance, pension plan, leaves.
Government-mandated requirements related to statutory contributions, benefit availment and taxation, health and safety, regulatory reporting and other DOLE-related requisites.
Securing applicable work permits and visas for expatriates attached to the local entities.
Provide support in other administrative tasks and country HR / regional HR projects and initiatives where assistance may be required.
The position will likewise need to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, such as employees, various teams within the organization, external vendors and government institutions in the performance of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following
Employee orientation, information sessions and briefings
Benefit availment
Updates on government processes and procedures
Invoice processing
Skills and Attributes required in the role :
Previous experience in significant human resources management positions, including shared services and business process outsourcing industries, an advantage
Basic knowledge of Philippine statutory benefits, employment, and occupational health and safety regulations and requirements an advantage
Strong administration skills including MS Office programs and database management / HR systems / filing
Good communication skills in English and local language
Ability to collaborate across organizational lines, disciplines, and cultures
Has an analytical mind with attention to detail
