Position Summary :

Provides professional, specialized skills, including : business continuity planning, project management, and problem analysis and resolution.

Participates in major project assignments to : Assist business partners in resolving business issues related to work area (business function) recovery planning and recovery plan development / enhancements.

Capitalize on business opportunities to refine operational processes to mitigate exposure during disruptions of service, and, possibly, improve day-to-day operations.

Facilitates and coordinates the development of work area (business function) business continuity plans for all lines of business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Ensuring compliance to contractual and regulatory requirements on business continuity and operations resilience
  • Developing and conducting risk assessments, escalate risks and coordinate mitigating responses
  • Conducting workshops and assist business units and department with :
  • Assessment of potential business impact (Business Impact Analysis),
  • Definition of Critical, time-sensitive functions,
  • Design, development, and documentation of work area (business function) business continuity plans and procedures
  • Developing site and business recovery team training on risk management and disaster recovery
  • Maintain a tracker of BC procedures and ensure that plans and procedures are periodically reviewed and updated
  • Coordinating and monitoring of operational resilience stress testing as well as broader business continuity test events, ensuring that any remedial actions are identified and tracked to completion.
  • Create and facilitate business continuity exercise and testing
  • Provide expertise and support to management and business functional areas, as requested, when a business disruption occurs
  • Job Requirements :

  • The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at one of the listed location options with limited telecommuting option.

  • Proven strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems

  • Strong organizational / planning and project management skills
  • Communicate, present, and negotiate effectively, with strong command of the English language, both written and oral
  • Excellent record of dependability and reliability
  • Skilled at working with people with diverse backgrounds
  • Collaborate easily with co-workers and work well independently
  • Job Experience and Education :

  • Graduate of bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive professional experience project management, business continuity, risk management or operational resilience
  • Familiarity with Risk Management and BCM frameworks such as ISO 31000, ISO 22301, ISO 27031, etc
