THE ROLE

The Business Group Director will be responsible for helping the Managing Director in spearheading key digital and ATL projects for brands within their business unit.

He / She shall work with the Business Lead and cross-functional teams in achieving targets, growing the business and coaching the account management staff under his / her supervision.

The Business Group Director should be passionate about finding ways to grow brand partners and must have a good understanding of the organization’s available products.

Should be hands-on, creative, detail-oriented, analytical and highly motivated. Must thrive in a competitive environment and must live by the organization’s core values of Bravery, Integrity and Generosity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead pitch assignments by spearheading the briefing, game planning and execution of pitch solutions that will be agreed upon with the cross functional teams.
  • Partner with the Managing Director in identifying and executing business development strategies.
  • Ensure a clear and correct understanding of the client's overall business, brand marketing dynamics and business objectives.
  • Drive and maintain a healthy and productive overall relationship with clients.
  • Ensure that all financial obligations and client commitments related to assigned projects are complied with in a timely, accurate and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director in determining and building a consumer experience plan or go-to marketing strategies appropriate for major campaigns and key pitches.
  • Lead a working process that is efficient, profitable and consistently delivers products that exceed client expectations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of solutions to client problems
  • Supervise and mentor the account management team under the business unit
  • Required Skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
  • Ability to aggregate and analyze internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights
  • Sound judgment and flexibility in balancing program requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule
  • Must have curiosity for new technology and creative techniques, and passion for great ideas that surpass client requirements, transform brands, and are innovative and famous or award-winning.
  • Required Experience

  • Preferably with at least 7+ years background and experience in advertising
  • Knowledgeable in digital, including but not limited to, SEO, Social Media, Content Marketing, Data Analytics, Digital Media, Web Development etc.
  • Experience in above the line (ATL) advertising and business development is an advantage
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
  • Ability to aggregate and analyze internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights
