  • The Marketing Manager is responsible for providing leadership that contributes to the achievement of Pernod Ricard’s vision, the company’s strategic growth platforms and local portfolio priorities.
  • 1. Brand Strategy and Planning

  • Drive sustainable business growth through Strategic Plans and Annual Brand planning
  • Lead successful marketing strategy to improve brand equity and sales
  • Develop and implement brand plans to ensure growth within the competitive environment
  • Ensure efficient utilization and tracking of allocated brand budgets
  • Build relationships with strategic partners, suppliers and industry experts
  • 2. Brand Communication

  • Develop effective advertising and promotional programs to achieve best quality and cost - efficiency standards in the industry
  • Lead timely implementation and evaluation of marketing plans and extend the brand communication through relevant mediums
  • Manage creative / media agencies and continuously challenge them to provide exceptional levels of service
  • Fully leverage digital media initiatives
  • Manage PR responsibility covering sponsorship & marketing communications
  • 3. Brand Activation

  • Translate global brand strategy into relevant local activation, setting and directing brand / portfolio promotion strategy
  • Ensure adoption of brand activation & strategy by the Sales department through preparation and implementation of channel specific programs
  • Identify major events for target brand sponsorships as well as identifying key local consumer group events and tie in brand support
  • Allocate & prioritize promotion resources according to brand / portfolio strategy
  • 4. Consumer Insight and Market Intelligence

  • Develop and implement a structured consumer / market intelligence
  • process and cascade actionable findings regularly with key stakeholders.

  • Advise on new product development and strategies, packaging, printing
  • technologies etc. through consumer insights derived from market

    research, competitive mapping and other market intelligence

  • Have regular joint visits to key accounts with sales team to gain consumer
  • insights

  • Monitor monthly volume and industry performance to generate accurate
  • and meaningful insight about consumers & categories

  • Monitor pricing analysis for effective pricing strategy of new
  • 5. Team Management

  • Managing, developing and coaching the marketing team to build
  • competence and effectiveness

    Job Requirements :

    Degree holder with formal business qualifications or equivalent, MBA is a plus

    Minimum 8 years working experience in marketing. Experience in advertising or

    public relations, with a good media and social network is a plus

    Experience in liquor, luxury or FMCG industry is a plus

    Excellent command of spoken and written English

    Good command of MS Office
