We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR, Reception and Study Center for Children is inviting applicants for the following vacant positions.

One (1)Houseparent I

Salary Grade / Salary : 04 Php11,181.00

Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

Education : High School Graduate

Training : None Required

Experience : None Required

Eligibility : None Required (MC 11, S. ’96 Cat. 111)

  • Educational background / Certificate along nursing and caregiver an advantage
  • With good coordination, communication and report writing skills
  • Home and Client Management
  • Has commitment to Social Protection and Development
  • Flexible and with initiative
  • Must be willing to render duty on a shifting schedule, 24 / 7
  • Primary Functions :

    vLook after the physical well being of residents in institutions on an eight (8) hours shift.

    vObserves and facilitates rehabilitation of clients.

    vUndertakes home management and housekeeping activities.

    vCounsels residents and initiates constructive social atmosphere.

    vPerforms other related tasks as may be assigned.

  • Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (July to December 2013) :
