Business Development Supervisor , K&B Philippines (Home-based in Davao)
ØWithin delegated responsibility and authority of Sr. Sales Manager, K&B PHP, responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and evaluating all business development activities within an assigned area in order to introduce and promoteKohler Co.
s K&B products through distributors to builders, plumbers, contractors and other end users in accordance with established company objectives.
ØEstablish and maintain regular contact with distributors in assigned area to introduce and promote Kohler Co. K&B products in accordance with company, branch, marketing goals and policies.
ØCoach and train distributors’ sales team to follow Kohler’s business directions and deliver results.
ØProvide guidance and review the activities of distributor’s sales team; provide training and assist in resolving specific questions or problems relating to selling efforts or technical issue.
ØEstablish and maintain contact with potential and existing interior designers, architects, hotel operators and developers to create awareness of Kohler’s plumbing products.
ØEstablish and maintain regular contact with builders, plumbers and engineers to inform them of the advantages of using Kohler Co.
K&B products for their customers.
ØAnalyze and evaluate assigned area regarding market trends / potentials, competition, economic / business conditions and distributor’s performance as well as recommend changes in programs and distributorships to make area operation more effective.
ØConduct distributors’ warehouse and on-site consumer inspections as required, attend to distributors and customers’ complaints regarding product quality, installation or performance issues.
ØEnsure smooth handover of approved or specified projects to distributors, and closely monitor on-time delivery of the products within distributors and customers as well as the completion of signed contracts.
ØAttend and participate in Company’s meetings and trade or industry meetings to increase the knowledge of Kohler’s products and cultivate good working relationships with distributors and product users.
ØPrepare various correspondences, reports and forms related to daily activities, expenses, claims, etc.
ØSharing knowledge and market intelligence to manager and / or approved colleagues.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
ØReport to Sr. Sales Manager, K&B PHP
ØFrequent contacts with other functional Business Development Executives and Technical Specialist.
ØFrequent contacts with Marketing and Central Customer Service Centre personnel.
ØFrequent contacts with distributors, plumbers, builders, contractors, architects, interior designers, hotel operators and other specific end-users.
Skills / Requirements
Ø5 7 years of working experience in project sales / retail sales
ØSales or marketing working experience is preferred
ØExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, conversant in working cross-culturally
ØSelf driven, self disciplined, and goal-oriented
ØPossess / acquire excellent product knowledge and be able to speak in the language of international caliber designers
ØWilling to travel
