Responsibilities:Research compensation statistics, conducting position evaluations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, making data-based decisions, determining the segments of the workforce contributing the most value, and conducting periodic audits.Design and implement the company's first base pay structure, redesigned field and corporate pay plans to include key metrics that supported new open compensation philosophy and HR strategyManage and develop the company's workers compensation claims system and client/vendor communication protocolExplain company compensation and benefit programs, such as medical, insurance, and enroll workers in specified programsDevelop, schedule, and conduct technical, management, and interpersonal skills training to improve employee performancePrepare newsletter and other reports to communicate information about employee concerns and comments and organizational actions takenPrepare reports and enter and update medical, insurance, and other personnel forms and records, using databaseAudit benefit accounts and examine records to ensure compliance with standards and regulationsArrange for employee physical examination, first aid, and other medical attentionInspect facilities to determine if lighting, sanitation, and security are adequate and to ensure compliance with standardsSupervises clerical or administrative personnel
Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of Employee Relations and Compensation and Benefits experienceDegree in Human Resources or PsychologyOutstanding interpersonal skillsExceptional written and verbal communicationDemonstrated knowledge of employment lawExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailGood problem-solving ability
