About the role :
We are looking for an experienced marketer to join a successful and rapidly expanding business as their VP of Marketing. You’ll have the remit to setup and manage the entire global marketing function from the ground up.
This is a blank canvass opportunity for someone willing to roll their sleeves up and create a team of A-players from scratch.
The VP of Marketing will need to work closely will key stakeholders in the business including sales, client management and product management to help deliver challenging growth targets.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record implementing the full spectrum of digital and traditional marketing strategies within a B2B environment and achieving a positive ROI either brand or agency side.
You will have the drive and inclination to remain at the forefront of marketing approaches, ensuring best practice marketing techniques are at the heart of everything we do.

Duties and Responsibilities :
This is a very hands-on role and requires proactivity and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy in collaboration with our CEO, COO and EVP Sales.
Recruit, onboard, train and lead a marketing team of A-players.
Manage various external agency and freelancer relationships.
Execute the marketing strategy to hit department and corporate targets.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure they have the necessary material and messages when interacting with clients or prospects.
Position the business as the leader in its industry working closely with external partners and media contacts.
Create campaigns, initiatives and content to engage with prospects and clients through multiple channels.
Develop and deliver online campaigns including content generation and management of any social media and online presence.
Deliver targeted lead generation and cross-sell campaigns at a product and regional level.
Development of messaging, storylines, for all major product announcements.
Prepare and draft press releases.
Desirable Qualifications, Skills, and Experience :
10+ Years’ experience of B2B marketing which targets North American and European businesses.
Excellent level of written and spoken English.
Educated to degree level in marketing, media or a related discipline.
Confident and articulate communicator.
Ability to be process-driven and rely on data to make decisions.
Experience building and leading a marketing team.
Experience in the development and execution of successful digital and offline campaigns with a track record of delivering projects and / or programmes.
Proven ability to develop plans and operationally deliver against objectives with an emphasis on clearly articulating value propositions simply and concisely.
Excellent task management and organisation skills across diverse projects with tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to gain internal respect and build consensus quickly.
A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and a practical understanding of how to successfully implement change.
Good working knowledge of multiple marketing tools including email campaigns, social media management, AdWords / analytics, CRM and Content Management Systems.
Work with external agencies and freelancers for SEO, Paid Media, Content Writing and more.
Knowledge of financial drivers of performance and experience of managing budgets and reporting ROI against activity and spend.
Highly desirable :
Experience of working for a North American or European company.
Experience of working within the technology, SaaS or Lead Generation company is highly desirable.
Experience using Salesforce and a marketing automation tool like Hubspot.
