POSITION / OFFICE : ATTORNEY IV

NUMBER OF VACANCY : 1

AREA OF ASSIGNMENT : Regional Office

SG : SG 23

MONTHLY SALARY : Php 65, 541.00

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

EDUCATION : Bachelor of Laws / Juris Doctor

WORK EXPERIENCE : Two (2) years of relevant experience

TRAINING : Eight (8) hours relevant training

ELIGIBILITY : RA 1080 Eligible (Bar Passer)

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

Under the direction of the Regional Director, provides technical and professional expertise in legal service and performs other related work.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS :

  • Represent the Field Office, and Field office personnel in their official capacities, in cases and proceeding before courts, tribunals, and other administrative bodies
  • Draft and revise decisions and orders, and recommend actions, in administrative cases.
  • Conduct, and / or assist in, fact-finding investigations.
  • Review and comment on proposed bills and resolutions, contracts, draft guidelines and related documents affecting the Field office.
  • Issue opinions on the interpretation and application of laws, rules, regulations, and office guidelines.
  • Provide the Field Office and Field Office personnel guidance and advice on legal matters.
  • Conduct legal research and related studies.
  • Attend on behalf of the Field Office, and / or serve as a Resource Person for meeting, seminars, conferences, workshops, fora, and similar activities.
  • Prepare office memoranda, orders, circulars, and related documents.
  • Coordinate with the Legal Service on legal concerns of the Department.
  • Perform other related work as the Regional Director may assign.
