The Opportunity

A Sydney-based online presence agency specializing in Search Engine Marketing and Optimisation is hiring for a highly motivated Social Media Marketing Specialist that craves the success of powerful conversion-focused campaigns and building long-lasting brands for our customers across various industries.

In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and running marketing campaigns over social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok.

Reporting from the Philippines, you will be directly reporting to the onshore line manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing new social media campaigns off to the direction of the Social Media Coordinator
  • Creating content calendars and developing relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
  • Create, design, and manage promotions and social ad campaigns, being sure to integrate with the company's overall marketing campaign plan and channels and in a way that is consistent with an organization’s brand and social media strategy
  • Scheduling social media posts using applications such as Hootsuite
  • Managing a budget to be spent on promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising
  • Track social analytics and prepare to report for our project management team, and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns
  • Work closely with customer success manager to hit social media KPIs; responsible for Community Engagement
  • Auditing social media accounts to identify opportunities and optimizations
  • Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline
  • With at least 3 years of relevant experience as a Social Media Specialist.
  • Experience working on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+, and other social media best practices.
  • Strong social media copywriting skills.
  • Knowledge of AB testing, other testing metrics, and SEO is desirable.
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Can work independently and collaborate in a team
  • Has a sense of ownership and is goal-oriented.
